About me
Mi piace sviluppare prodotti alimentari. L'obiettivo è produrre alimenti sicuri e sostenibili.
Who Am I? I started my studies with a Master’s in Gastronomy and Culinary Management. The aim was to discover several cooking styles for working worldwide and learn how to manage and handle a hospitality business, from marketing to business administration.
After that, I decided to start my bachelor in Food Technology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia with a different vision from the previous study, but both complement each other. During my bachelor, I participated as a board member in the food innovation association Fornejant Ciencia (www.fornejantciencia.com); in behalf of the association, I participated with my group in Ecotrophelia (European food innovation competition) with our product Ricese and we won the third national prize in 2021. I believe in the fact that learning never stops and I am interested in learning new technologies and soft skills that will help me design and develop a better outcome.
Experience
gastronomy manager assistant
I started working as a station chef leading two junior chefs in a pioneer project, 'Convent Carmen', during my bachelor's; I was working part-time at the weekend. In 2022 the company opened a new gastronomic market, so I worked as a menu planner with the head chef to provide cost-efficient options without sacrificing taste.
Alumnus-Staff
Junior Achievement is the largest non-profit organization in the world dedicated to economic and entrepreneurial education in schools. I participated as a student in 2016 at 'impresa in Azione'. After my experience, which led to the victory of the third prize, I became a member of JA Alumni, and I started working with the regional program manager to develop a network in the centre of Italy. As a Junior Coach, I also participated in the competition 'Green Jobs'.
Web management
Fornejant Ciencia is the association of the UPV university on food innovation. I became a member of the board in 2019, in 2022 we participated in the ecotrophelia competition and we won the third prize nationally.
